Introduction to Blockchain
When we talk of blockchain, we often think of cryptocurrencies. But block chain is much more than that. Block Chain is a distributed ledger technology (DLT) (you will have to attend the course to understand what this means!) It has the potential to eliminate vast amounts of record-keeping, save money, streamline supply chains and disrupt our lives. This course will give you a strong grasp of the key concepts underpinning blockchain, how core blockchain platforms work, appropriate use of blockchain in app development, and will equip you to evaluate the most popular blockchain platforms. Participation does not require technical skills.
Blockchain technology is changing the face of business. Is your organisation ready to adopt it?
In this course we will explore the integration of blockchain technology with organisational processes. We’ll examine popular blockchain platforms – including Ethereum, Stellar, Hyperledger, and Microsoft Azure – and delve into a range of popular tools to build blockchain solutions for competitive advantage.
Who is it for?
Leaders and managers from all sectors who need to deepen their understanding of blockchain to support the digital transformation that will help their organisations build strategic competitive advantage.
Certificates are awarded on the following basis:
